Price was too high compared to others and we were not comfortable the TV did not work we ask for help and none came Bathroom was dirty tub was stained and scary for Germs was a bad experience we only stayed one night but was a Bad feeling. sorry we are experienced travelers and have stayed at many places but this one needs to be updated and Tidy up. I was very upset on my stay there.
Light over bed not working, light by coffee making broken, no extra toilet paper and dogs aren’t allowed in the lobby. It was supposed to be a dog friendly hotel. I’ve stayed at dozens of others and they welcomed your pet. Not here. Need to be bilingual to understand the staff. Won’t be getting my money again!
Getting on the bed. Reminded me of cement slab. No soap in the room either. I have been a Redicard holder since 08. Never remember such an unhappy experience.
I normally enjoy Red Roof Inn, but Statesville needs a little revamp.

I normally enjoy Red Roof Inn, but Statesville needs a little revamp.
Booked online. Wasn’t until I had my CC info entered that I found out there was a $35.00 tax recovery and other fees added to the cost plus a $9.97 fee for cancellation on a noncancleableroom. Before I could back out of program I get a notice that says reservation confirmed and I didn’t even hit the confirmation button. No breakfast was offered even though the amenities said Vegetarian Breakfast options offered. Won’t be staying at a Red Roof Inn again.

One room smelled of dog the other of smoke. Supposed to be a non smoking room.not very impressed.
First time stay at a red roof and was impressed, for I just needed a place to sleep for a night on my travels. I will definitely be making a reservation for my return trip.
Clean. Pet friendly. Reasonably priced.
Accommodation was clean and fresh. Room was comfortable as was the bed, refrigerator was an added bonus.
