Fortunately my cousin was able to stay in my place for bereavement purposes. My car was damaged in an accident and I was unable to make the trip. It took me over an hour trying to communicate with foreigners to change the name on the reservation. The second person I tried to talk to could not hear me over a very loud rooster in the background. Had I been able to make the trip I would have slept in my car. Leave your light on for someone else.

The hallway had a peculiar smell but the room was clean. The bathroom was tiny and the toilets were very low to the floor. The shades let in more light than I care for, but there was little road noise. The breakfast was very limited.

The major problem that I had while staying at the property was my room door would not lock sometimes, unless you physically turn the dead bolt out, to release the other lock.

The staff was nice, but the hotel itself needs work. It is sort of run down and smells very old. My room had a very loud A/C unit and peeling paint and mold in the shower. The house cleaning crew did a good job with cleaning and making the bed. Probably would not stay in this hotel again though. The staff and cleaning crew are the only way this hotel gets an average from me. Otherwise it would be close between poor and very poor.
