Cleaning Policy: Hilton has partnered with RB, makers of Lysol® & Dettol®*, to help deliver an even cleaner stay for our guests with the creation of the Hilton CleanStay program. Our protocol begins with our team removing all used items from the room such as bedding and towels. Next, the team performs a full clean of the room and bathroom including vacuuming the carpet, mopping floors and wiping down all surfaces with hospital-grade cleaners. Then, using trusted products from Lysol*, Dettol*, Sagrotan*, or Napisan*, we do an additional disinfecting step for several surfaces in the room, including: all switches and electronic controls, handles and knobs, major bathroom surfaces and the remote control. After the room is thoroughly cleaned, we replace the towels and make up the bed with freshly laundered linens. Finally, our housekeeping inspector verifies the room meets the CleanStay standards and places the Hilton CleanStay Room Seal with Lysol* protection over the door.

"I Wish We Had Known About the St. Jude Charitable Promotion."

When we checked out of the Hampton Inn Austin NW/Arboretum on Monday, March 2, 2020, I noticed that the Manager, Bryant Clark and another front desk employee were wearing T Shirts with "St. Jude" on them and asked about it. Mr. Clark explained that the Hotel was sponsoring a promotion to give a part of its guests' charges to St. Jude. My husband and I were never informed of this and I was upset because it was too late to give and St. Jude is my favorite charity. Why have a promotion if you don't let the guests know about it??? Other than that, we had an uncomfortable night without A/C, but Mr. Clark promised to send us a certificate to use at a later date for a free night in one of your hotels. The staff members were all very helpful, courteous and WONDERFUL! Especially your maintenance man, Fidel Castro, who brought a box fan to our room at 3AM. Gracias, Fidel!

The stay was pleasant and very nice. The hotel room was nice, comfortable and very accommodating. I plan to stay at this location again when in Austin, TX. However, I do have an issue. Listed on your website is a one 800 number for reservations. The website does not indicate that if you book the reservation through this 800 number, you are actually completing the reservation through a Third party planner. When I called the number and completed my reservation, the third party representative did not tell me this either. Additionally,the third party representative did not tell me that the reservation could not be canceled or that THEY WOULD CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD THAT DAY. I found out about this when I received the email confirmation from the third party, which is Hotel Planner. Why is Hampton Inn not being compkletely truthful with it guests. I am still upset about this and may change my mind and stay at Hampton Inn again Thanks, Alice B. Howlett.

Very friendly. The desk clerk called to be sure the room was satisfactory. The room was well appointed and comfortable. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to others.

"Left Hotel. Musty, Water Leak, Rundown."

I reserved a room with two beds and paid in advance (traveling with my daughter). When I checked in, I was told that a room with two beds was not available. There was a water leak earlier in the day at the hotel with fans everywhere, had a musty smell throughout the hotel. Once we saw the room, we decided to leave and discussed with the manager. I was told he would bump other guests and give us a room with two beds. Why was this not offered when I originally checked in? I am a Hilton Honours member and travel frequently. This was unacceptable.
