With temperatures pushing 110° I was grateful for an above average air conditioner and the room was clean and smoke free.

"Good Place to Stay While on the Road."
Overall Score3.0/ 5
Our experience was very good. We planned to spend two days in Phoenix and had an alumni luncheon in Casa Grande on Thursday and were then meeting our niece from up north who was vacationing for the week in Scottsdale. Unbeknownst to us the week fell during baseball Spring Training and some other events which made hotel accommodations scarce and more expensive than usual. The Super 8 in Mesa turned out to be both affordable, convenient and a comfortable place to spend the night. It wasn't luxurious, but was clean, quiet and comfortable ideal for spending the night. My wife and I were pleased with the room and pleasantly surprised when, upon checking out, the manager told us they had coffee and donuts in the small break room down the hall. The room turned out to have coffee and a fresh box containing two dozen donuts. It also had a microwave, toaster, oatmeal, two choices of dry cereal, toaster waffles and bread for toast. A very filling and tasty breakfast which saved us having to find a restaurant and stop for breakfast. We were very pleased with the Super 8 Mesa. While not a resort to spend time at it is a good place when all you want is a good place to spend the night at a reasonable price.

"Relaxing"
Overall Score4.0/ 5
They accommodated to everything, were respectful to me and my family. The only one downside was the hotel keys they gave me and my husband was they stopped working at 9am when the check out time was at 11am. Otherwise they were good, we’ll definitely go back. They refunded my deposit with no issues or problems.

"Fair for the price."

Accurate automated wake up call. 15 minute early morning drive to Gateway Airport. Slept well.

"So so service smells of cigarettes, outdated."
Overall Score2.0/ 5
I selected this hotel as it was pet friendly, reasonably priced, decent location, and close to the venue I was attending. I was in town for a dog event. Check in was easy as I had booked through your service. I first checked in, then made two trips to my car. One to bring in my dog, and one to bring in my suitcase. Both times walking directly by the front desk. When getting to my room, it was clean, but incredibly outdated. Because I was only there to sleep, the accommodations didn't matter all too much. The smoking rooms are intermingled with the non smoking rooms, so you smell smoke wherever you go. I left for my event early the next morning, and when returning in late evening, my key opened the door to access the hotel, but did not open my room door. I went to the front desk, dog in tow, and let the front desk clerk know my key let me in, but not to my room. She said it was because I had a dog and didn't tell them! What? I let her know when reserving the room I ensured it was pet friendly. She was so rude, and wouldn't look at me, and said no I didn't inquire because there were no "notes". She said it was $10 a night for the dog and needed my credit card. Of course I paid the additional, but the whole attitude and demeanor totally turned me off to ever staying here again, which to be honest I may have considered if making another quick trip through town. Cigarette smell and all.
