I stay in several holiday inn express each year going to and from Florida. I will not be staying at the one in Rocky Mt NC again from the time I approached the front desk I felt they were not friendly nor was the rest of the staff during our stay. I say hello to people most staff barely acknowledged. It seems no one there knows how to smile The breakfast area ran out of both eggs and butter. I requested refills at the front desk which was done but we were on a schedule and not much time to waste. Finally the bathroom needs attention to grout and cleaning. I always leave a very good review on Holiday Inn express but this was not up to standard, my husband is “ discussed “ not worth $181.
The front desk receptionist is exceptional. Polite, pleasant, knowledgeable and strives for excellence. She resolved my problem promptly and with a smile. The room and bathroom are clean with comfortable bed and pillows. The maintenance employee who fixed my TV issue was also polite and knowledgeable.

When I stayed on the 3rd floor two weeks ago it was great! This past Sunday, the first floor was noisy at 7:00 am! Terrible when your trying to sleep.

Hotel was right off I95, easy to find. Hotel was clean with easy check in/out. Good spot if traveling with dogs.

Driving for over 12 hours, we decided to stop for the night. Chose this hotel and we were glad. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. We slept comfortably and enjoyed a decent breakfast in the morning. The cost of the room was not cheap, but everything met our expectations.
