Nice big rooms with good hotel amenities. Fitness center and restaurant are both excellent, as is overall service. Convenient location near the University but far enough away to avoid traffic headaches.

Staff was courteous and professional. Our suite was large and well laid out. There were multiple lounges with fireplaces and big screen TVs and the restaurant was excellent, sitting on the patio next to the river was a wonderful experience. The hotel exceeded our expectations and will be a destination in the future.
This is the best place we've stayed at during our visits to Eugene, OR.
We have stayed at Valley River Inn for 50 years and always enjoy the level of hospitality. The restaurant was well staffed and the prices were a bargain.

We loved the comfy beds and clean bedding in addition to the spacious room and bathroom. We had plenty of room to get ready in the morning and we enjoyed the patio! A nice surprise was the coffee and variety of yummy snacks available to purchase for a great price! The hiking trail and view at the restaurant was amazing! We will certainly stay here every time we visit Eugene! Professional and friendly staff was the cherry on top!
Beds were much more comfortable second trip round. Food at restaurant is amazing!

Valley River Inn is a nice place to stay. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The facilities are clean and maintained well. The restaurant is first class. The other facilities… pool, fitness room, etc. are very nice. VRI is a great place to stay!
