"This gem of a hotel is a must stay when visiting Delray Beach! "

When visiting Delray one would be remiss not to desire a panoramic view of the mesmerizing ocean from the balcony at the Opal. Enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the first rays of the sun cast light upon the turquoise seascape is priceless. Every year when attending the Delray Affair, the Opal remains my first and only choice. The delightful staff are at your service from sundown to sunrise. The room was refreshed every day and cleaned. Couple of chocolates left behind are a wonderful treat to compliment your stay. The feeling of being so very welcomed and secure at the Opal is priceless. Staff does all they can to insure your stay is as memorable and unique as this beautiful and enchanting place on the shores of the Gold Coast. Being able to access restaurants and venues simply by walking to them from the hotel makes Opal’s location superlative. So many reasons to make this gem of a hotel a must stay when visiting Delray by the sea. Even the fire protection system alarms work as designed all reacting to the false alarm everyone exiting by using the stairs never the elevators! Having worked 40 years in the fire protection industry staying in a building meeting or exceeding fire codes assuring guests' safety is just one more reason the Opal gets an exceptional five star review. They are customer focused, staff is well trained and available 24/7. A quest couldn’t ask for a more opulent and friendly hotel to lay one’s head down for a peaceful and secure night's rest then be treated to a lovely morning sunrise!
