What is cool about the Virgin River Hotel&Casino in Mesquite, NV
Sunday brunch food.
To be honest, the Virgin River Hotel and Casino was solid for the price. When I book a hotel, I really only care about a few things: a clean room, cold A/C and a TV that works. This place checked all three boxes. The room was no frills, but clean and comfortable. The TV was on the smaller side, but it worked fine and the A/C absolutely cranked, which is a huge plus in Mesquite. Ice machines were easy to access and parking was plentiful, with plenty of overflow parking available if needed. There was also a poolside bar, which looked like a nice place to relax. I didn't eat there during my one night stay, but several people told me the food was decent. Overall, I can't think of any reason I wouldn't stay here again when visiting Mesquite. If you're looking for an affordable place that's clean, comfortable and does the basics well, the Virgin River is a solid choice.
Rooms are always clean and beds are nice. A great value.

Affordable, clean and nice place to stay.
We stay here a couple of times a year as we pass through on our way to Utah. It’s about the half way point to our destination. Great prices, good clean rooms and plenty to do if you like the Casino. We also eat either dinner or breakfast the next morning. We eat at the smorgasboard restaurant and always have a pleasant experience. I would recommend this place to anyone who is needing a good’s night’s rest on your way to your destination.
