Courtyard by Marriott Keene Downtown
The Courtyard by Marriott Keene Downtown offers a variety of amenities including a bar/lounge, parking, gym, pool, restaurant, spa, WiFi/Internet, pet friendly, laundry, non-smoking rooms, breakfast, air conditioning, 24/7 front desk, kitchen, business center, meeting rooms, and beach access.
The room was lovely but the fact that the pool was closed was disappointing. I don’t feel I should have been charged full price since I didn’t get full use of the facility.
The hotel was very clean, and the employees were friendly and efficient. A smooth and pleasant stay overall.
When on the phone booking directly with the hotel, I was not advised of "Refund Protection" being added to the booking. I was not given an option to opt out of this unnecessary add on. No room service (cleaning,etc) was provided between night one and night 2. Not sure if this was because it was a weekend or the hotel simply does not provide room service for multiple day stays. Lack of this service should have been disclosed when making the reservation.
From the moment we walked in the front door to the clean foyer and cheery greetings from the front desk, we knew our stay would be lovely. The room was neat, clean and we even had extra counter space! We had a delicious dinner at The Stage. Breakfast staff was a delight at 6:30 a.m. and the coffee was perfect. Check out was a breeze. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to visiting again. =)
