Outstanding customer service and support.

The check in was horrible. The young man who checked me in was rude and very unprofessional. He continued to refer to me as "that girl" even after being told my name. The room was lovely. Very spacious. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable. The mattress had some dips in it. The lobby was wonderful. The breakfast was good. There were a variety of food options.

This was the perfect location for me and my family and friends that came in from out of town. My sister passed away on February 26th and we spent a lot of time together in Hyde Park enjoying all the restaurants shops and groceries stores together and so being able to have stay at the Hyatt allowed for us all to celebrate her spirit and enjoy all the places that she had enjoyed for so many years and as her sister it provided me with GREAT COMFORT even in my sadness and grief. I really would like to express my gratitude to all the staff that worked during our stay and highlight a few that I had the opportunity call by name. Chuck from the moment I arrived was attentive, patient and simply kind his acts of kindness were endless. Chuck went above and beyond his empathy and kindness was five star service thank you Chuck, Dwight also amazing I was not able to be with a few of my guest when they first arrived and Dwight made sure to welcome them and make them comfortable. Once I arrived he was also able to direct me to the right people to get a few issues resolved. The coffee bar worker was also PHENOMENAL I did not get her name she wears glasses. The coffee she served me and my family member was made with love she pays attention to detail and listened and was more than happy to help us and made sure that we were pleased. There is also another young man that worked the front desk on Sunday March 16th who also went above and beyond. There was not a time that we left the hotel and came back even if it was simply to step outside for some fresh air where he did not provide an infectious smile and reminded us if we needed anything to let him know because of him it reminded me that even in my grief a simple smile and an act of kindness goes along way. The house keeping team on the 6th floor also made the time in my moments of crying to stop me along the way to make sure that I was ok. I would also like to thank Sheinette Williams for her patience and kindness during this really difficult time. There are other workers that demonstrated five star treatment I was just not able to get everyone's name. Thank you while we all wished that it was under different circumstances the acts of kindness and heartfelt conversations is what you matter looks like. I will be sure to come back I will need another getaway and you all made me feel at home and safe. Thank you Michele Theodore family and friends.
