The rooms were cool and clean. The breakfast was less than "a 5" based on the later start time, (6:30). The door entry pads were covered with duct tape and confusing as to swiping procedure.
We stay at La Quinta all the time and have been very pleased. This one in Kanab I've stayed here before, but this room we got was terrible black hair in the sink, black hair in the bathtub ants by the bathtub and the trimming on the bottom of the baseboard, we walked in and it fell off. The wall. It needs a little bit of tender care.
Clean rooms, pool area looked run down, not inviting.
Our complimentary full hot breakfast will be available again in 2021. It'll include waffles, sausage or bacon, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, cold cereals, several bread options, fruit, coffee ,tea, juices.

Loved this hotel, fantastic hearty breakfast with good protein options, very friendly staff, very clean, lots of free parking, very close to everything. Only taking off one star because the mattress was very hard and the pillows didn’t give any support which hurt my neck, BUT that’s also on me for not packing my orthopedic neck pillow. Most pillows hurt my neck eventually, but this one did it immediately. Other than that, absolutely loved this place within driving distance from all the sights we wanted to see (sadly North Rim we didn’t realize is closed until mid May). Kanab is a great base camp for seeing the parks tho!
Enjoyed our stay.
It was a great place to spend the night and it felt like home.
The room is great. The service and people were friendly. The hotel was clean and welcoming and well set up and the pool was okay.
