Oxford Suites is a fantastic “dollar-stretcher” hotel option for groups, offering an exceptional amount of free amenities for a low price. For instance, their rate includes a full, hot breakfast (with protein options) as well as a complimentary reception in the evening that includes soup, salad, beer, wine, and soda. Both sessions are 3-4 hours long, so no one is likely to miss either. Besides this, they provide free parking, free airport shuttle, and free internet. They also have an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, laundry, and in-room microwaves and fridges, making them a perfect choice for sports teams or most any other group. The décor of the hotel is simple, well-kept, and cozy. The lobby has the comfortable and warm feel of an older person’s living room, and the sleeping rooms were much nicer than I imagined they would be. They had a few especially nice elements, such as the large wood headboards and mattresses which have been repeatedly reviewed as extremely comfortable. This hotel is located a bit far from downtown/central Portland (Jantzen Beach area - about 10-15 minutes away), which may deter some groups, but they make an effort to help groups get to downtown with a free shuttle, if needed, and several options for easy public transportation. This hotel is also known for friendly customer service (check out their TripAdvisor reviews for some customer testimony)). In short, this hotel gives you a ton for your money and is a great value for clean and cozy accommodations. I highly recommend it to all groups.

We brought teens here for a birthday sleepover and pool time. Abraham at the front desk was very personable and patient with us. Janice at the bar was fun and entertaining. The property was clean and well maintained. We had a great time and look forward to another visit.
