As I entered the hotel, the lobby area was extremely spacious, clean and stunning with tile floors, large front desk, and a lot of seating. The breakfast area was very spacious and is located adjacent to the front desk. There is a catwalk overlooking the lobby from the second floor, a Wingate trademark, and gave me the appearance that this would be a great place for a bride to throw her wedding bouquet. This particular Wingate Hotel has extremely good TripAdvisor reviews, and it was apparent to me by the staff that I met, that they work very hard to ensure guest satisfaction and quality. I was given a tour of the hotel by the Director of Sales and the General Manager. The guest rooms are a traditional style, with plenty of space to move around, including a sitting area. They were clean and appeared to be very comfortable. The bathrooms were upgraded and had granite counter tops. Each room has a refrigerator, microwave, and flat panel television. The meeting rooms were clean, and the exercise room had several options for working out. Restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance as well as a short drive from the hotel. Overall, the staff at this hotel is superb and I highly recommend this hotel to any group looking for that extra TLC at a competitive price.

Personal Protective Equipment is provided (e.g., gloves, masks) as directed by local and federal public health authorities for employees. All bathroom hard surfaces sprayed with an EPA-registered disinfectant (toilet, urinals, sinks, countertops, and fixtures) and bathroom disinfectant (shower/tub). ALL guest room hard surfaces disinfected. All public areas are cleaned more frequently utilizing a hard surface disinfectant. Guest room keys are sanitized after every use. Shields and social distancing aids are in place. Non-essential public gathering areas such as business center, guest laundry, fitness center, breakfast area and pool will be closed or operate according to local and federal public health authorities. We will provide a grab and go breakfast until restaurant restrictions are lifted and complete compliance is possible.
