"Covid19 and no refund!"

We had tickets to a concert at the Colonial Theater in Keene, NH. The concert was cancelled because of Covid 19. Obviously we weren’t going to travel to Keene without going to the concert so we requested a refund from both the Marriott hotel in Keene and from hotelplanner. We were denied a refund and obviously are very disappointed. Our friends booked directly with the hotel in Keene and were given a total refund even though their reservation had stated that it was a no refund reservation. The lesson learned is never use a third party to make reservations, especially hotelplanner! These are unusual times and large corporations need to understand that they have a responsibility to the public. It is time to think small and local if individuals are going to financially survive.
