"A Nightmare"

This hotel needs to be condemned!We stayed in room 223 and I have taken pictures of the filth in this room. I asked the be moved to another room but was told there wasn’t one available. I had to put my dogs blanket on the bed because the bedspread, blanket and sheets were dirty. I even wore my clothes to lay in my dogs blanket on the bed. Nightstands were not cleaned had bottle circles and sticky stuff on them. The bedspread had green stuff on it. I threw it under the sink. Old dirty socks and a layer of dirt was found in the closet ! I turned on the fan in the bathroom and it’s soo loud and clanking. TV speakers are blown. I tried to get a refund but because I phoned Howard Johnston Hotel line I couldn’t get a refund and there was no hotels available in St. George to even book another room somewhere. We paid $215.00 plus $15.00 for our little puppy! It’s not even worth $10! I have never been soo disappointed in a hotel! Will never stay at a Howard Johnson hotel.

The room was fine but the odor was something else! It was aweful! I also didn’t like to see all the mold in the shower. Cleanliness wasn’t all that great either!

Imagine The Rosebud of Schitt's Creek with a less charming receptionist. The room was tired and apart from two new lamps nothing like the picture on line. The sheets were thankfully clean but other linens worse for wear. The confirmed $10 pet fee at reservation was charged again at check in and was $15. I wish I had something nice to say but I just cannot think of one redeeming feature.

It is clear that the managers of this hotel take pride in the cleanliness, neatness and amenities of this hotel. While not new, the room was well cared for, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed in it!
