This was our first stay at the River Inn, it came highly recommended. Very nice, clean and charming hotel/inn. Good Italian restaurant (Matera) located inside. Enjoyed walking my dog around the neighborhood and Georgetown campus.
The staff at The River Inn was exceptional! Each one went out of their way to accommodate us around the clock. Day and night, the next shift almost outdid the prior one. Unexpected tragedy brought us to DC but the over the top service and compassion we experienced at The River Inn has us eager to return. THANK YOU EVERYONE! Fondly, Patti and Ann Shields.

The River Inn is one of my favorite hotels to stay at when in DC. I highly recommend it to others. Great hotel.
