The rooms were large, big enough for three - four people and included a fridge and microwave. Rooms were clean and service was good. The continental breakfast was good when traveling with teenage boys. Pool was also clean. Happy with the stay.

"Disappointing and Management Lacking Customer Service."

In short, the property was fine. The rooms were clean, the hallways were clean and housekeeping and breakfast area staff were pleasant and engaging. The breakfast offerings were good. The washing machines and dryers need to be replaced as one of the washing machines stopped working shortly after we arrived hampering everyone’s ability to clean their team uniforms. Hotel management personnel and their decisions were where I have issue. With our team of 16 boys, one evening, we decided to order pizza in for the boys and in asking if we could use the empty breakfast area, we were first told that because the area had been cleaned we could not use it. This seemed not to be the truth as when pressed on the issue, Ken, the manager on duty, finally said the area had been rented by another team and we could not use it. Even though the area was not in use and we offered to ask the other team if they would give us permission to use the space, Ken said no. When asked if there was a General Manager on duty, we were told no and Rose would not be in until the next day. When asked who the Property Management Company is, Ken did not know. When asked for Ken’s and Rose’s last name, Ken said he would not provide them. So as we stood in the lobby waiting on the pizza delivery and considering our options to bring our team together, Ken came back to me and said he called his manager and as the space was not being used, we could use it after all. In the end, we were able to use the space but it took a lot of effort with Ken to remind him he is in the hospitality business with the key word being “hospitality” and that I was not seeing much customer service. I do a lot of travel and stay at Marriott properties, as much as possible. I will not put this property at the top of my list should we be returning to the area for future tournaments. This interaction left a bad taste in my mouth which clouded what was overall a very good trip.

I got late and was working until late, found out about the bed issue too late to be asking for a change of room. very bad experience.
