Born and raised in Opelousas we always have reason to go back to the home town and enjoy staying only at Evangeline downs. Our stays have always been met with help on reservations, arrival, check in and stay. As much as we enjoy coming to town to visit this trip was for a family funeral and the reservation team was quick to help me get a room on short notice even though they were super busy that weekend. We managed to share Saturday night in the casino with 20 plus family. Team Evangeline Downs, we appreciate all you do. ..
During our night we had to call the desk due to loud music above us. It was very noisy. The smoke smell was strong and gave us a headache. I truly wish for a better experience should I choose to go back.
