Property Description
Claddagh Motel & Suites is centrally located in mid-coast Maine, halfway between Portland and Bar Harbor. Two miles north of downtown Rockland and five miles south of downtown Camden. The motel has 19 units in total. We offer a variety of rooms and suites from rooms with one queen bed,one king,two double beds and two queens.We also have 5 two bedroom units, some of which have kitchens. All rooms come with free WiFi and extended cable T.V. Refrigerators,coffee makers and2 hair dryers are standard in every unit.All beds have top of the line 2.5 inch memory foam mattress toppers with cooling gel beads which makes for a wonderful night's sleep.We also have a heated outdoor swimming pool which is open from mid June to Labor Day weekend.Ocean views from some of the units but all guests have ocean access to Glen Cove beach. The access is through our sister property which is only a two minute walk from the motel.Fortunately,our sister property is located right on the Glen Cove beach where guests can comb the area for sea glass and many other unusual treasures.The view of the Islands beyond and sail boats passing by is just stunning, you will not want to leave at all. Continental breakfast is offered from Memorial Day weekend to mid October.Guests have the choice to eat in the breakfast area or take it outside, where there are many garden tables and chairs.There is plenty of Garden furniture throughout our well maintained grounds of 3+ acres as well as tables, chairs and sun umbrellas located outside most of the rooms.
