This hotel should be shut down. The worst hotel that I’ve ever stayed at. No maintainable, only one person to clean all the rooms. even when they say no. smoking, all rooms are smoking. We used a whole bottle of Lysol just to be able to sleep at night. The toilet didn’t flush right. And to top it off it was the most expensive hotel during the trip to Georgia.

No pool, NASTY hotel room, had to change my own sheets. The ones that were on were covered in stains. Tub and sink still had small hairs in them and the floors are SO STICKY. The room smelled so bad of cigarettes when we arrived and it’s supposed to be a “smoke free” hotel. Lmao. When we arrived we tried so hard to find another place to stay within the 15 minutes we were allotted. I hate so much here. Will never make this mistake again.

I booked this place thru a 3rd party as I could not find any other place to stay within a 50 mile radius of Helen, GA. I arrived around 7pm, exhausted and simply wanting to lie down and rest. I was promised an Handicapped Accessible room with a king bed. The desk person said the only room "on the ground floor is not ADA, has two queen beds and the TV doesn't work". Right then I should have demanded my money be refunded, but as I was truly exhausted, I accepted this room, #120 to be exact. I drove around back to the room, passing two three groups of people standing around smoking on the sidewalks and making lots of noise. On entering the room, I noticed a musty smell and a broken light bulb by one of the beds. I made a phone call to my husband and described what I had found, including massive mold around the base of the bathroom walls, what looked like dried urine and feces on the toilet base, hairs on the tub floor and tiles and someones old ponytail tieback left wrapped around the towel rack. No ice bucket, no microwave or mini fridge and no coffee pot. Oh and the swimming pool was derelict, empty except for mud and grime in the bottom. I removed the few things I had brought in and went back to the front desk. The person that had checked me in, was sitting at another desk chatting it up with someone and a woman in what appeared to be pajamas, a robe and slippers asked me "What you want?". When I said the room was dirty and unacceptable, she became defensive saying "That room was cleaned today." When I mentioned the mold, she replied: "We can't do nothing about that, it out of our control." So they KNEW the crappy condition of the room and rented it out anyway. I asked to be moved and was told nothing else was available. The man who checked me in was mildly apologetic and said I'd need to speak to the manager "in the morning before 11am". I asked for her name and he said, "Atlanta". So, I went back to the room, pulled back the covers, to find stained sheets and large dark dirt smear on one of the pillows. Since I felt I had no choice, I brought in a coverlet I had with me, spread it over the dingy sheets, took a cleaner looking pillow case off one of the other pillows and put it over the dirty pillow and tried to rest. The night was long as the noise outside could not be drowned out, even with the noisy A/C going full blast. I was up early and without showering as I wasn't about to step into the nasty tub next to the filthy toilet and went down to the front desk. I asked for the manager, Atlanta, as was told she was not in and would not be back until Monday. I explained to this new person that I was very, very unhappy with the condition of the room and that I would NOT be staying for the 2nd night I had booked when I thought "Quality Inn" meant clean, good quality rooms. She was huffy about it, but processed a refund for both nights, with the caveat, that it would be 7 10 days before a refund would appear on my credit card, as "you paid a third party, they pay us with their credit card, so you have to wait for them to refund your money." Several days later and no refund and the manager has not called nor has the 3rd party booking service. I'll never stay at another Quality Inn, as I no longer respect or trust the brand.

"Fine but a bit jank."

TV didn't work, toilet never stopped flushing, the hall and room smelled like smoke, water damage on the walls, only a couple dim lamps for room lights, a blanket instead of a comfortor and the front desk personnel was picking their nose for check in and nowhere to be seen for checkout so I had to shove my room keys through the locked door and wish for the best when leaving. The bed, ac and bathroom were otherwise fine.

You had to touch the TV to turn it on and wires were hanging out of it. The tub had dark marks on it. The lady at the desk was very nice, I think I left me IPad.
